Have you seen those cars that can now run with gasoline and also with electricity? This is what this new choir makes me think of. Look... Mary Mendias and Paul Carrasco play together on Saturdays at the 5:00pm Mass. They have a story behind them. Mary says that when Paul was 8 or 10 years old, he took guitar lessons from her about a year and a half. Since then he has the highest opinion about Mary and Mary likewise has Paul in her highest esteem. What a beautiful combination. To me is like nothing short of a miracle.
But wait, there is more.... Mary told me in front of Paul that "Jesus has his eyes set on Paul". What does she mean??? We can only wonder what divine providence has in store for Paul, but that means that all of us must pray for Paul so that Jesus may do something wonderful with his life. In the meantime we are grateful with Paul because he has chosen to play with Mary and contribute to the beauty of our liturgy and worship. Many blessings to both of them.
